Directions to the free commuter parking lot in Jefferson City.
The lot is on Industrial Drive (on the map above marked by the star).
The lot is between Argonne and Hart Street – it is on the south side on
Industrial. It is next to the State MVE building.
When you come across the river on Hwy 63/54 take the McCarty St. Exit
(2nd Jefferson City Exit across bridge). There is a stop light at the
bottom of the exit – instead of turning south on McCarty – go directly
across the intersection onto Industrial Drive. Very easy to find!
If you are coming from the west or east – take the Dix Rd (Hwy 179) exit
north to Industrial – turn right and follow industrial to the lots
listed above.
The City runs shuttles from this lot to the Capitol and back between 7
a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mon. – Fri. The busses run about every 8 – 10
minutes. Just pull in the lot and get on and ask the driver to drop you
off at the Capitol. Then, you can wait outside the Capitol and stop the
bus to ride back. Sure does save lots of hassle with parking spots and
meters!
